Condition: Acceptable. The book is dated 1911 as seen in the photos. The implied signiture date is November 1912. The recipents name is ANDREW CARNEGIE. I know that ANDREW CARNEGIE died in August of 1919. So there is a possibly that this book was purchased and owned by ANDREW CARNEGIE. On the internet I am unable to make the connection to the place and date to when this book was signed by the Auther to ANDREW CARNEGIE. I know ANDREW CARNEGIE spent the summers in Scotland and wintered in the USA. So the November date would put him back in the USA. He passed away in 1919 at his home in LENOX, MASSACHUSETTS.
