As far as we know, this working method is unique in the international art publishing scene and is a new way in between the fine editions and the art items. Starting with the graphic, layout and printing process of Leonardo's manuscripts and drawings, he works by hand every single page with an etching proceedings, replicating the snags of the originals by scalpel, up to the smallest detail, retouching by brushes the stains and colors, and subjecting the specimens to an exclusive and natural method of antiquing. This makes each specimen unique even if in a multiple print run. He try to achieve a work capable to arouse in the viewer the same emotion to browse an original, as well as the time left us. Alessandro set out to create replicas enriched by the author's creative contribution, who could communicate with the collective imagination through the senses.
