It is a collection of stories, most of which were written by Gira between 1983-1986, and 1993-1994, during the early (and mid) manifestations of the SWANS, which saw them release such brutal masterpieces as "Filth", "COP", "Holy Money", "Greed", and "The Great Annhilator". These stories are uncompromising, just as the music from this period was. They explore the darkest recesses of the human condition.
