1951. Signed by Edward, Duke of Windsor. Limited, Numbered Edition #260 of 385 copies. Housed in a beautiful velvet lined slipcase. Slipcase is sturdy and in very good condition, minor flaw to top of case (see last picture). Book is in very fine condition with tight binding, clean pages. Minimal shelf wear. Putnam's Sons 435 Pages Hardback Morocco Leather with Gilt Lettering Edward was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Empire and Emperor of India from January 20, 1936 upon the death of his father until his abdication on December 11 of the same year, after which he became the Duke of Windsor. In 1937 he married Wallis, to whom the book is dedicated. Edward and Wallis remained married until his death in 1972. In his own words, Edward tells the story of his life.
