The Psalms of David In a folio edition by the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge, 1977. One of 20 bound in full vellum -- No other copies for sale with full vellum binding. Edition limited to 315 copies. This no. 1 of 20 in bound in full vellum. In substantial green cloth slipcase trimmed with leather. Title on spine in gold, top edge gilt. 13.75 inches tall, 151 pages. Printed in Gill's Golden Cockerel 18 pt type (first used in his Golden Cockerel Gospels) on heavy Barcham Green mould-made paper. Published by Wm. Dawson & Sons as a "Deighton Bell Edition." The text is that of Miles Coverdale, as revised for his Great Bible of 1539. CONDITION: No flaws to note. The vellum is pristine. A gorgeous copy. Slipcase has minor shelfwear.
