Almanac. Enfield, Mass. Freemasonry]. Philo Astronomiae
The Free-Mason [i.e. Freemasons] Almanac for the Year 1826 [...] Fitted to the town of Enfield, Mass. but will serve for any of the adjoining states

Collation: [A-B]2 [C-D]4 COMPLETE. Old wrappers, stitched. Scattered light to moderate foxing. The preceding issues were entitled Howe's Almanac and Howe's Genuine Almanac. The title-page format of the present work is virtually identical with that of Howe's Genuine Almanac for 1824 and 1825. Contains a "Charade, for Howe's Almanac" (p. [22]) and an article on Freemasonry (pp. [22-23]). REFERENCE: Clifford Shipton, "Publications of the Howes of Enfield and Greenwich" in: Proceedings of the AAS, vol. 60, pt. 2 (1950), pp. 222. ¶ Scarce: while there is a copy at AAS, Worldcat lists only N-YHS and Amherst College. Ours appears to be the only copy currently on the ma … [Click Below for Full Description]
