This work contains plates engraved after Raphael's Vatican murals. State: Third state of 4. Ref: Robert-Dumesnil 25. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Nicolas Chapron' after 'Raphael'. The engraver of this work is Nicolas Chapron / Chaperon, French (1612-1656), designed after the Vatican murals by Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483-1520). The publisher of this edition is Pierre Mariette (1634-1716). Condition: Good, given age. Narrow margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
