Contemporary calf, rebacked retaining existing spine, blind rules to boards, blind fillets along joints. Minor nicks, stains and scuffs to boards, moderate rubbing to board edges, corners bumped and somewhat worn, pastedowns loose and partially detached, rear endleaves lacking. Light toning to text, light soiling to title page. * Only edition. An interesting feature of this compilation is its two-page "Exposition of Certain Ancient Words Found in Domesday-Book and Other Old Records and Charters, For the Better Understanding of Some Pages in the Ensuing Treatise." A prolific author, Bohun was an attorney and a prolific author who published well-received treatises on legal education, Parliament, ecclesiastical law and other subjects.
