Black and white illustrations in text by Blake. Front free endpaper and half-title very slightly creased, excellent in the dust jacket which is slightly creased at extremities of spine panel and with a small closed tear on the front panel. First edition, first impression. Dahl's fantastical tale was expanded from a short story in his 1975 book Danny, the Champion of the World. A film adaptation, directed by Steven Spielberg, was released in 2016.
