Osawatomie [complete run of six issues, with - Weather Underground Organization - 1975.
N.pl. Red Dragon Print Collective, Weather Underground 1975-76 All six issues of the magazine, vol. 1 nos. 1-4 and vol. 2 nos. 1-2, all 8.5x11 inches, five of them the first editions issued underground, with the Red Dragon printer's emblem and no others (the exception is no. 2, which has a Jackrabbit Print Collective bug). What makes this set unusual is the presence of four of the original envelopes used for mailing them, which bear the fictitious return addresses of "Rouge Engineers," "Tecumseh Corp.," "Haydee Books," and "Hayward & Hills, Inc.," all in Washington DC. The address for "Rouge Engineers," 860 F St. NW, appears to be an unused number on the same block as the Smithsonian; the others are similarly dubious. (Naturally, those mailing these magazines did not want to be traced to an actual address.) The envelopes have been fold-creased. The issues lacking envelopes are no. 2 (the Jackrabbit above-ground issue, which must have been obtained from a different source) and vol. 2 no. 1. Condition of the magazines themselves is very good, with only minor edge toning to the covers of a couple of issues.
