Great Expectations - Dickens, Charles - 1861.
Chapman and Hall, London 1861 - Three volume 1st/4th/4th in late nineteenth century dark blue half leather with marbled endpapers and simple gilt titles to the spines. The books are reasonably firmly bound, vol I has a split developing at the top of the front hinge, but it is not too serious, otherwise they are slightly bumped and rubbed, but generally externally clean. The text blocks are lightly toned, foxed and a little dusty, but free from inscriptions, all have been bound without their half titles. Quite a an attractive, simply bound set of perhaps Dickens most famous novel. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
