T.L.s. from Lawrence Durrell to Henry Miller, December 28, 1979 with corrections and additions in Durrell's hand including an extra PS paragraph. Discusses meeting a "new girl," a meeting with Le Matin, a visit to Paris, and a short book about Tibet and France. At the time, Durrell was finishing A Smile in the Mind's Eye. In a P.S., Durrell mentions the possibility that 1980 might be Miller's Nobel year. Letter is laid in Ian S. MacNiven, ed., The Durrell-Miller Letters 1935-1980 (New York: A New Directions Book, 1988). This letter is transcribed on pages 508-9. Slight tanning at edges of text.
