An engaging account of a marlin-fishing expedition out of Bimini and Cat Cay, privately printed for the author, and not for sale. "An extremely rare Derrydale...a hard book to find." (Frazier). The author was a financier and philanthropist; his father co-founded the Wrigley and Harkness Company and was a major investor in the Standard Oil Company. William Hale Harkness graduated from Yale in 1922 and received a Harvard law degree in 1925. A member of numerous clubs and organizations, he was at one time vice president of the American Geographical Society and the Boys Club of New York.
