Thiis is a two-volume compendium of Chinese antique furniture sold at auction between 1973 and 1996. Includes price estimates. Presumed printed and bound in Hong Kong. Red and green buckram-like paper hardboards, with crisp blind-stamped titling in Chinese. 11.5 x 8.25 inches. Unbumped spine heads and tails, with sharp corners. With 314 and 248 numbered pages and with hundreds of stunning color plates, all full-page and all on heavy-weight, coated stock. Each volume is immaculate, and very tight, with little hint of shelf life. Either unread or very gently read. No remainder marks. The pictorial DJs are unclipped. DJ for Volume I with a trace of edge wear along the spine head. In a heavy-duty slipcase over-bound with glossy paper. The bottom half of the spine of the slipcase is very bumped but the slipcase has done its job protecting the books. A Near Fine set in Near Fine DJs in a merely Good Plus slipcase.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9Â¾" - 12" tall.
