Michael Joseph 1970 - The First UK Printing published By Michael Joseph in 1970.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.A few spots to the prelims and page edges with a little toning to the text block.Gilt titling remains very bright.A small neat penned (in red) letter 'H' within a circle to the upper front blank end paper.Otherwise free from inscriptions and erasures.The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition.A little browning in places to the edges and flaps but far less than usually encountered.The Graham Humphreys wrapper artwork looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover.A very nice copy of a book that was cheaply produced and seldom turns up in collectible condition.The first title in the iconic James Herriot vet series with was successfully adapted for TV as 'All creatures great and small'.Collectible.Ashtonrarebooks welcomes direct contact.
