SECOND BOOK OF VERSE - Eugene Field - 1893. [1272208]
Charles Scribner's Sons, New York 1893 - Very Good in boards. Edge wear. Signed and inscribed by Field to Kate Ward Drake on front end page. Written in his own hand is the first half of the second verse of his poem "Old Times, Old Friends, Old Love". Also included is a formal notice from Field, in it's original envelope, dated May 11, 1893, to Mrs. Drake which indicates Field and his wife having moved homes. Field included a print of his old home located in Amherst, Massachusetts. Upper right corner of front panel bumped, upper edge of rear panel bumped in center. Gilt robust to front panel. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
