This book would go on to win the Pulitzer Prize; 11 years after the author committed suicide, never having known that his manuscript was published let alone championed by Walker Percy, another Pulitzer Prize winning novelist who convinced LSU press to take a chance on this work. An incredibly important Pulitzer Prize winning title. 1 of only 2,500 first printings. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
