A scarce pamphlet intended to attract immigrants to Western Australia, on the heels of the Murchison W.A. goldrush. Ferguson 12484a. 8vo, ix, 144pp (5) leaves of plates including 2 folded maps, (one in color) adverts. Original tan wrappers printed in red and black, dusty, spine & wrappers ruffled w/ tear in front wrapper archivally repaired. Back wrapper detached. With a notation at the top of the wrapper "Signet Library" with a call number, but no other library markings. Maps are "Great Southern Railway of Western Australia" & "Western Australia" noting railways (completed and in progress), telegraphs, boundaries of land divisions and routes of steamships.
