RARE, THE ONLY LARGE-PAPER COPY WE KNOW OF ON THE MARKET of this fascinating history of seventeen pirates including the likes of Kidd, Tew and Roberts. Also includes valuable information on Pirate life, their haunts and cruising grounds. While the Caribbean seems to get so much attention these days the authors note that, "there is scarcely a sandy beach on New England's long and deeply indented coastline that has not connected with it some traditionary tale of the landing of pirates or their buried treasure.
