I Me Mine - HARRISON, George - 1982.
W.H. Allen, London. 1982 - First trade edition (preceded by the limited edition of 1980). Octavo. 398 pages. Reminiscences, many photographs and song lyrics, these latter often presented as facsimiles of the manuscript versions.Laid in is a colour picture postcard, in very good condition, of Trader Vic's restaurant in the Hilton Hotel, London, on the back of which Harrison has written: ''To Sharron lots of love, and I'll see you when your a bit older. George Harrison.'' The inscription presumably dates from before enlightenment came upon him. Also laid is one of Astrid Kirchherr's black and white photographs of three of the early Beatles (Harrison, Lennon and Sutcliffe) posed on and in front of a truck - this is reproduced in the book as plate VII. On the back of the photo is a faint copyright stamp and some glue marks.Very good indeed in near-fine dustwrapper. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
