Summer Moonshine - WODEHOUSE, P.G - 1937.
1937 - 8vo. Original yellow cloth, spine blocked in green; a very good copy in chipped and faded dust-jacket. First American edition, which precedes the British edition by four months. From the library of Cecil B. De Mille with his bookplate designed by Paul Iribe. Iribe went out to Hollywood in 1915, and worked as designer on numerous movies, becoming in time "a valued member of de Mille's staff" (Birchard, Cecil B. de Mille's Hollywood), most famously creating the fantastical Egypt for the 1923 Ten Commandments. Wodehouse and De Mille collaborated on the 1915 silent movie of Gentleman of Leisure. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
