FIRST EDITION 1937, two volumes, complete set, EDITION LIMITED TO 300 COPIES OF WHICH THIS IS No. 71, folio, approximately 320 x 190 mm, 12¾ x 7½ inches, illustrated with 4 wood engravings by Lynton Lamb, 2 in each volume, 2 full page maps and plan of th Bounty's Launch, pages: 435; 260, bound in the original publisher's three colour cloth, gilt titles to spine. Corners very slightly rubbed, pin hole to top of spine of volume 2, a little pale foxing to cream cloth, light wear and slight staining to lower edge of upper cover of Volume I (see image), a touch of fading and a few minor marks to spines, pale age browning to margins, a little foxing to fore-edges of Volume I, no inscriptions, contents clean. A good plus set, bindings tight and firm. Laid in is a single-leaf Prospectus for 'Bligh's Voyage in the Resource'. See: Jonathan A.
