Kodandsha 1982, 1983, 1984, Tokyo - A full, 18 volume set of `Nihon no Bi to Bunka: Art Japanesque`, written by various Japanese authors/researchers who are famous in their fields. This series is about Japanese art with volumes on ukiyoe, architecture, kimono, gardens, tea, books, pottery and lacquer, zen, Buddha, samurai, and generally items of `beauty` or culture. All volumes are highly illustrated, with original slipcases and dust jackets, and all belong to the first edition. V.1-17 include an original monthly bulletin pamphlet printed specially for the series. Some of the slipcases show a little wear, a few marks or scrapes, and particularly some chips and wear to the spine heads, but are generally in very nice condition.
