Amusement Park Ride Blueprints from the - [Architecture]: [Amusement Parks] - 1981. 
Osaka, Japan: Meisho Company, [ca. 1981-1983]. Near fine. Three small 4to. binders in printed, stiff plastic wraps. Each measuring approximately 10.5” x 7.5” and containing 40 (in total) mechanically reproduced blueprint drawings. Mild handling wear to binder exteriors, prints folded to fit binders. Some toning to folds. Near fine. Three early 1980s sets of blueprints and technical drawings from the Meisho Company of Japan, manufacturer of amusement rides. Binders hold overview and component drawings for The Monster (a rotating, car-based ride), Twin Dragon (swinging pendulum ship) and Astro-Swinger (suspended, twirling swings), with text in Japanese and English. The Astro-Swinger and Twin Dragon were installed in 1984 at Uncle Kenny’s Funworld, one of Singapore’s first indoor amusement parks. In the 1990s the company became Sanoyas Hishino Meisho after a merger. They continue to build and manage amusement park attractions.
