Accedit enumeratio plantarum sponte nascentium in ruderibus Amphitheatri Flavii. Romae, typis de Romanis/ typis Pauli Salviucci et Filii, 1813-1815. 2 parts (all published). 4to (272 x 205mm). pp. 14, with 4 engraved folded plates; pp. (2), 81, with engraved title vignette showing the 'Amphitheatrum Flavium' and 6 (4 folded) engraved plates. Contemporary half calf (covers loose) Antonio Sebastiani (1782-1821) was an Italian botanist and professor of botany and director of the Rome botanical garden.
