A Neuchatel, France 1772 - Text is in French, approx:A5 size.Title page shows Nouvelle Edition, I believe the original first edition was c:1750.The book is split into two halves at page 218. Pages generally very clean and bright, especially for age, minimal tanning to edges, slight scattered foxing, occasional light creasing. Shows little signs of having been read. Endpapers tanned, some foxing. Personal library plate, of William Forfsteen, to front inside cover. Page ends grubby. Covers, light tan leather, generally clean and bright for age, slight scratching, some scuffing. Corners, and edges, rubbed, worn. Spine small loss to tail, tiny loss to head, split vertically down centre.This is a very rare book and will benefit from a professional restoration.
