Arpeggio Press Publications, New York 1955 - First edition. Quarto. 36 mimeographed leaves printed rectos only with printed title page. Two leaves of photocopied illustrations and two pages of photomechanically reproduced music tipped-in at the inside from wrapper. Clasp bound in orange wrappers with printed paper label. Age-toning on the wrappers, small tears on the yapped edges, very good. Warmly Inscribed by the author to Mildred Dilling, the harpist who taught, among others, Harpo Marx. A fictionalized account of Chopin's early life self-published by Wynn Hammer using his Arpeggio Press Publications imprint and sold at the back of *Etude* magazine. Hammer dabbed in song writing before becoming a noted Hollywood cameraman and still photographer who was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award by the Society of Camera Operators in 1999.
