F50 - FERRARI SpA - 1996.
Modena Ferrari SpA 1996 - Limited edition number 95 of 1002, 4to., numerous colour illustrations and diagrams, publisher's carbon fibre composite boards, the upper cover mounted with the Ferrari silver metal horse, presentation letter to the recipient loosely inserted, original protective textured-card wrapper. This is the exceptionally rare edition (not to be mistaken for the more common sales brochure presentation book for the same model) and was only given to buyers of the Ferrari F50 model of which only 349 cars were made, the last being produced in July 1997. In consequence the limitation of the book is much lower; 'The book covers all aspects of the car and traces its development and engineering programme from inception to launch. As you can see, this unique book is bound in the carbon fibre composite, which is identical to the material that is used throughout the Ferrari F50.' Tim Watson, Sales and Marketing Manager, Ferrari UK. The Ferrari F50 is a mid-engined range-topping sports car, introduced in 1995, a two-door, two seat roadster with a removable hardtop. It has a 4.7 L naturally aspirated 60-valve V12 engine that was developed from the 3.5 L V12 used in the 1990 Ferrari 641 Formula One car. [Attributes: Soft Cover]
