All volumes original cloth with title labels on spines. Vols 1-5,1828. Vol 6, 1829 The first 5 volumes are accounts of Parry's voyages to discover the North West Passage and were initially published separately in four quarto volumes between 1821 and 1826. This set of six volumes was printed as a complete edition in 1828 whilst Vol VI "Narrative of an Attempt to reach the North Pole in boats fitted for the purpose, and attached to His Majesty's Ship Hecla, in the Year 1827" was added in 1829 and intended to go with the other volumes. The bindings and format being similar to the other volumes. Cloth on all volumes, grubby, bumped, very worn esp. along edges & spines, Vol VI spine is cracked at hinge.
