North (First Printing) - Heaney, Seamus - 1975.
Faber & Faber 1975 - First edition, first impression. Near Fine: firm and square binding in sharp pale blue cloth; bright gilt; foxing to the top-edge of the closed page block, with a dozen or so tiny spots to the extreme top-edge of the boards; small cluster of spots to the rfep, else very bright, crisp and clean, free of marks and inscriptions; tanned to the front endpapers, but less than is usual. The unclipped dustwrapper (£2.95 net stated) is likewise Near Fine: very bright and vibrant, with a hint of barely perceptible sunning to the spine; 1cm closed tear and associated crease to the head of the rear gutter (acid-free archival tape to the verso); some sporadic spotting to the flaps; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover. A handsome copy. All orders are sent very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard. SEAMUS HEANEY SPECIALISTS. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
