Folio 9-3/4 x 12-3/4 inches. No. 7 of 50 copies. Some cover markings, otherwise fine condition. 52 sheets (104 pages). Unpaginated. Plain olive suedene like fabric book cover with front and back with end papers of white simple patterned fabric. Signed, numbered and dated 24 June 1985 by IrÃ©nÃ©e Lemieux. 38 hand-coloured figurative illustrations, one per page and 15 pages with handwritten text including the title and listed edition pages at the front. IrenÃ©e Lemieux was a Quebec musician, writer, painter, sculptor, researcher, conductor, violinist, and pianist. He was also the author of a dictionary on the wonderful local artists and often very close to his favorite artists, such as its great friend, Jean Paul Riopelle. IrenÃ©e Lemieux, a great gentleman, whom we would like to pay special tribute one of these days, for his contribution to culture in all its forms, in the region of Quebec and in the rest of the planet, where he exhibited his sculptures and painting or prints, or in France, Germany, England, Romania and USA, besides touring with his ensemble of violins, substantially the same aforementioned places. Irenee Lemieux was born in Armagh county of Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada, August 2, 1931, he lived in Quebec the rest of his life, until his death on 10 May 2005. He was a member of international art associations such , the International Arts Guild of Monte Carlo and the Academy Arts, Sciences and Letters of Paris. Quoted from Galerie Molinas web site.
