Large folio, 41.5x27.5cm. 720pp. With 'Declarations and Papers Concerning the Difference betwixt His Majesty and His Fifth Parliament", and "The Portraicture of His Sacred Majesty". Illustrated with exquisite engraved plates, including a baroque frontispiece and title plate, as well as a doubleplate engravings at the beginning of the second and third parts. Text printed in black and red/orange. Rebound in red library buckram, with sticker and call number to spine. Bookplate on the front pastedown announces this volume as being from the "Church Collection of Cromwelliana, presented to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh". With perforated stamp to the title page, ink stamp to the contents page, otherwise left unmarked. With minimal library marks, excellently preserved-- prime for a more suitable rebind, but well- protected as is. Pages remain bright and clean. Very heavy volume, will require additional shipping.
