Hugh Paulinius (1605-1674), who became a Benedictine monk under the name of Serenus Cressy, was an English Doctor of Theology. Originally taking orders in the Church of England, he converted to Catholicism in Rome in 1646 while on a trip to the continent. From title-page: 1.
