The Publications of the Bedfordshire Historical Record Society Volume 2

      The Society at the Old House in Aspley Guise 1914 - Attractively bound in half green morocco with five raised bands to the spine and gilt title lettering. Top edge gilt. There is a tiny chip at the head of the spine, and a bit of rubbing to 3 of the 4 outer corners, but overall this leatherbound volume is in very good condition. There is foxing to both the fore-edge and bottom edge, and to the opening and closing leaves, but the contents are fresh and clean and the hinges and joints sound and secure. There is an old armorial book plate on the front paste-down and a couple of pencilled reference numbers in the top left-hand corner of the front free endpaper. Overall, an attractive copy.
