London: William Rogers, 1705. Very Good Book. 12mo-over 6¾"-7¾" tall. "Thirteenth Edition" stated on title page which is dated 1705 in Roman numerals. Printed for William Rogers. Rebound in beige cloth with "Sherlock on Death" stamped in gold on the spine. All page edges red. 352 pages. Very Good condition. Text is complete. All pages are in excellent condition with no foxing but slight age-toning. Recent owner's signature on first blank page. Twentieth-century binding is tight, straight and solid. Easy to read without fear of damaging the pages. Title page reads: "William Sherlock, D.D., Dean of St. Paul's, Master of the Temple, and Chaplain in Ordinary to Her Majesty." Facing the title page, Imprimatur dated "Septemb. 11, 1689, " which is the date of first publication. Last page has "The End" followed by an advertisement for the book.
