Wright, Dudley (Collater). Wesley, John
The Epworth Phenomena
William Rider & Son. Ltd, London 1917 - Off-white dustwrapper with a pinkish tinge, clearly some fading has occurred, esp. to the spine (see photo) Plain dark blue boards with gilt titles to spine only, still clean & bright showing negligible wear. Internally clean with very occasional light spotting and a good binding. Critical intro by J Arthur Hill. 110p. It stetas on the wrapper; 'The object of the present volume is to collect the many and varied psychical incidents narrated to the founder of Methodism and met with him during his career as a missionary preacher, commencing with the remarkable phenomena experienced by the Wesley family at their father's vicarage at Epworth.' You'll have to buy the book to read the rest. A lovely example of this rarity with the even rarer dustwrapper. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
