Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering on the side. Mild surface wear. Joints and extremities rubbed, peeling. Hinges are just starting, though the textblock is intact. Pages are clean, with the occasional creased corner. Written by one of Darwin's contemporary biologists, St. George Mivart, who attempted to reconcile the theory of evolution with his catholic faith.
