The emblems are on recto pages with facing texts : Latin quotations from Bible and Fathers, Spanish verses by Alphonso de Ledesma, Dutch ones by Vaenius and French ones by Carolus Hattonius. Def. at head & tail, rubbed , ( stains on pp. 121-127 affecting 2 plates).
