[iv], 100, 27,  pp. Quarto (8-1/4" x 6"). Contemporary limp vellum, ties lacking. Light rubbing to extremities, light soiling and a few minor stains, spine darkened, front pastedown loose. Some toning to text, heavier toning to a few leaves, faint dampstaining to margins in a few places. A few early annotations to endleaves, early signature to title page, interior otherwise clean. * Second edition. An interesting, very thorough study of the law concerning boundaries (property lines) in Roman and later legal systems. It was a durable work that went through at least seven later editions in the early seventeenth century. All are scarce. OCLC locates no copies of any edition in North America, but we located copies of a few editions at Harvard Law School and the Library of Congress.
