PMM 114: ÒMacaulay described [the King James version] as 'a book, which if everything else in our language should perish, would alone suffice to show the whole extent of its beauty and power'.Ó Only one other copy of the complete Song of Songs has appeared on the market to my knowledge, in the 1935 Scribner catalogue 'You Know These LinesÕ and no complete copy of Ecclesiastes.
