New Testament title-page also in red and black. Apocrypha. NT incomplete; lacks pages 65-84 - otherwise complete. Introduction and tables all present. A few integral engravings. Binding tight. Double-column text; clean throughout. Moderate wear. Binding worn but essentailly complete. Title page has a couple of neat old paper repairs. (xx), 1444, 377, (ix) pages. Very thick volume. One old clasp present, but not functional. Louvain version; French Louvain Bible, by order of the emperor, Charles V, first published in 1550. Quite scarce.
