Engraved frontis. and dedication leaf. Contemporary calf,skillfully rebacked. First published in 1756,only 3 copies of this edition are in E.S.T.C. (B.L.,Dublin and Masonic Lbrary,New York). There is some browning,and the occasional light stain,also one small area of the title page is rubbed just affecting two letters of the word "Swift" after the verse quotation from him. Early name of S.Langford,Macclesfield on front paste-down. Generally a very good copy of this rare book.
