Aesop's Fables

      London: Published by George Harrap, 1935 - 1936. One of 12 sets of proofs pulled before the copper plates were steel-faced, each plate being in the final state, and each signed by Gooden at lower right corner. All plates measure 6-3/8 x 4-11/16 inches, except for the engraved title-page (9-7/8 x 7-1/2 inches) and final tail-piece (7-3/16 x 4-3/4 inches).
