Sides rubbed, corners a little worn, an occasional sprinkle of foxing, but a very good set, internally clean and fresh. Third edition, following the extensively revised “Great Quarto” of 1803, and the first in two octavo volumes, the format which was to remain the standard in Malthus’s lifetime for the most widely-discussed economic tract of its era.
