Large copy,some pages are smaller. In first part, K2 bound just before K1 and K4 just before K3; Portrait of Bernardinus Tomitanus, although so labelled on F4, never impressed.. 4to. 2 parts n 1 vol.. Engraved title, initials, head and tail pieces, and printer's devices at both colophons. 55 engraved bust portraits. Giovanni Imperiale (1602-ca.1670), a physician of Venice, collected this ensemble of 45 eulogies of the most celebrated men in the literature followed by a description of how such men used their physical attributes in the development of their natural dispositions.
