Trade issue of the collection of folk poetry (over 50 examples in all), with woodcut illustrations apparently all by Gyorgy Buday (and seemingly inspired by Frans Masereel), plus bibliographical references. Bound in half dark brown morocco over cream boards, gilt-stamped spine, upper cover decorated black, black endpapers, all edges trimmed, brown silk bookmarker (frayed at end).
