      David Fickling Books., United Kingdom 2003 - A first edition, first printing of Philip Pullman's Lyra's Oxford. Red cloth bound mini hardback in fine unread condition. Signed to the title page by Philip Pullman and John Lawrence, who provided the engravings for the book. In addition to John Lawrences signature, the illustrator has added the extra inscription: "From the Woodpecker", refering to the animal daemon that John would have had in Pullman's parallel world. Although a small volume (58 pages!) it is an essential addition to any serious Pullman collection as it links the Dark Materials Trilogy to the much anticipated The Book of Dust. .PACKED WITH CARE.
