BladoOs device to title-page and verso of last leaf. 4to (mm 210x148), contemporary limp vellum, traces of clasps. 4 unnumbered leaves, 111 numbered, 11 unnumbered, one blank. A pleasing and well preserved copy, a little restored tear on the upper blank margin of the title-page. . An heterogeneous collection of philosophical, retorical and religious works written by Claudius Aelianus of Preneste (II century B.C.) with the purpose of spreading important classical texts which had up to this time been forgotten or unknown. MelampodeOs and PtolemonOs treatises are here printed for the first time.
