The leather spine is cracked giving it a crinkled appearance. The pages are severely damp damaged, and are stained, browned and generally wrinkled in appearance. There may be some front fore-pages and rear end-pages missing. The title page has a large horizontal tear. Inscriptions to the front pastedown, title page and the reverse of the title page. Some pencil annotation to the text. The pages are worn around the edges and have some edge-tears.
