Orwell, George

Burmese Days - First Edition

Victor Gollancz, London 1935 - A somewhat worn copy, bound in the original charcoal cloth with yellow spin titles. Ends of spine peeling a bit and some splitting to the joints. Generally a bit worn and dustsoiled. Old Smith's library bookplate to front pastedown but no other library marks. Free front endpaper and half title loose. Small ink name to free front endpaper. Webbing showing along inner hinges. 318 pages. A generally somewhat soiled copy but internally pretty sound with a little foxing. If recased would actually be rather presentable. One of the rarest of Orwell's works. We can send images of this book on request. [Attributes: First Edition; Soft Cover]
